Kindergarten Enrollment

We are excited to meet your Kindergartener!

Every spring, we host our Kindergarten Round Up. It’s a chance for parents/guardians to learn about how to enroll their student, visit the school, and meet some of our teachers and staff.

Future Kindergarteners are encouraged to attend, as well. They’ll get to meet the Kindergarten teachers, take a quick ride on a school bus, and learn some new songs!

When and where…

This year, Kindergarten Round Up will take place on Thursday, March 9th from 9:00-10:30am in our MPR (Multi-Purpose Room).

Who can enroll…

Students must be five years old before September 1st to attend Kindergarten at Mesquite. Students must also live within Mesquite’s service area or have been approved for enrollment through
Open Enrollment.

If you have questions about whether or not you live within our service area, please contact our front office at (520) 879-2102.

What to bring…

We will only be accepting complete enrollment packets, so please remember to bring the following items with you, when you attend Kindergarten Round Up.

Up-to-date immunization records

Certified birth certificate

Residence verification (mortgage/rental agreement
and a utility bill)

Proof of legal guardianship/custody – If divorced, legal documentation of custody agreement must be provided upon enrollment. If a guardian other than a natural parent will be registering the student, a court document showing current guardianship must be provided upon enrollment.

Please bring the original and a copy of each document. We are required, by law, to see the original document. We will keep the copy for our records.

If you have any additional questions, please contact our front office at (520) 879-2102.
